Snuff (Discworld Series)

Snuff (Discworld, #39) - Terry Pratchett I always love visiting Discworld and Sam Vimes may well be my favorite of all the many wonderful characters Sir Terry has created over the years. I laughed quite a lot during this book, as all Discworld books encourage, but I also found myself happily enthralled at the quite-potent civil rights issues raised. The book is - surprisingly - deadly serious even as it makes you laugh. I can't remember another Discworld that hits at a) such a serious topic and in b) such a smart way. It's socially aware in ways that the casual reader might not expect - which makes it all the better a reading experience.More admiration at RB: http://wp.me/sGVzJ-snuff
