I had fun with this book. I've never read any of Ames' other stuff (although I'm familiar with his tv show "Bored to Death") and I've never read any Wodehouse - but I sort of knew what I was getting into and it didn't disappoint. It went a little wobbly at times and I think, perhaps, it could've been a bit leaner... but I loved the quirks and the tone and the smart, erudite humor. It's a good diversion if you want something to make you (if you have my sense of humor/fashion/life) laugh a bit... and then it fades nicely, without much fuss.More at RB: http://wp.me/pGVzJ-pk
