A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy #1)
Despite some really egregious flaws, I have to admit that I enjoyed this book. I didn't expect it to be so chick-lit-y but that wasn't a deal breaker. Indeed, it's smart and provides a new twist on several old tropes. But in the end, it's far too long and doesn't accomplish much but setting the stage for Acts 2 & 3.
