The Lover's Dictionary

The Lover's Dictionary - David Levithan A beautiful little book. The best encapsulation of "love" I've maybe ever read - because it never tries to define love but by defining everything else around it, it paints a wide-angle picture of what it means to love in the modern moment. It's oblique, it's a little confusing, it's perhaps (for some) a little too precious - but not for me. I thought it was simply beautiful. We can't succinctly give love a definition that encompasses everything it possibly means... so why try? Instead, use as many words as you can: it provides a far clearer and infinitely more beautiful understanding.A quirky review, done in the style of the book, over at Raging Biblioholism: http://wp.me/pGVzJ-l2
