The Leopard

The Leopard: A Harry Hole Novel (8) - Don Bartlett, Jo Nesbø There's a certain something off about this novel. Too much, too long, etc. It's still excellent - well-written, fast, violent, and it moves Harry's story forward by leaps. But it just doesn't quite live up to the standard of the earlier novels (even its immediate predecessor). It felt as though Nesbø was bowing to some other pressure, to outdo his previous sadistic acts against our hero and put him through an even worse ringer. But that didn't stop it from being enjoyable - I just hope our man gets his life back on track soon.More about it at RB: http://wp.me/pGVzJ-t4
